Great time. Food was very quick to arrive, waitress was friendly and funny, and the amount of food was adequate. You get a lot of bang for your buck. Came here because Denny's was under construction but maybe we will start coming here instead.
My wife & I were tipped that they were serving breakfast at 50% off, weekdays. It's probably an effort to build traffic during the morning hours. in this store's case, there are lots of places to have breakfast in very close proximity, so 50% off is a good idea. The place was sparsely populated at 9:00 AM on the Thursday we stopped in. We were seated at the hostess' convenience, meaning we were not asked if we had a preference, in the nearly empty dining room. It took about 5 min. before the waitress came to our table, so we ordered our food when she took our beverage order. The coffee came fairly quickly, but the simple French Toast & eggs breakfasts took about 10 min. to arrive. The food was excellent. Everything was cooked as requested and delicious. This visit was like a trip back in time. Although it has been years since I last ate here, I used to eat at this Friendly's when it first opened in the 1970's. My wife and I were amused that the music on the sound system was all 70's music: Fleetwood Mac, Leo Sayer, Sly Stone, etc.. it was an over all good experience. Especially if you don't have any appointments to make. The whole meal for 2, was just over $10.00, so even with a 20% tip, it was a bargain and very pleasant. I recommend this Friendly's for breakfast.

This place reminds me a lot of the old Farrell's ice cream parlors, which we used to have back in Detroit. It's an ice cream parlor, but also a full scale restaurant. I had the BLT: it was extremely good. Followed that up with a chocolate shake, and this is where this place really stands out. The shake was fantastic. All this food, and at a price that is below what we've come to expect here in New York.
This is always had great service 10/10 would recommend over McDonald's or other fast food restaurants have never had problems with the food and probably never will .. the service is always great weather you are eating in or taking out this place with disappoint. Yea it's a Chain however they all have something different about them and this is my favorite so far. Food is tasty and service is great!
